Love the look of the Vietnam and Cambodia trip departing 16 Jan - but I live in a northern city - not handy for Heathrow! Any suggestions/alternatives possible?

Hi Nala, it’s worth giving us a call to see if there is anything we can do for you?

Hi Julie,

Yes indeed, there are already 7 people flying from Edinburgh for that tour.

I hope we will be welcoming you to Spain with us as well?

Hi Julie, unfortunately we can’t give out contact details for other travellers - but if there is anything we can answer to help you we would be more than happy?

I am going to Vietnam and Cambodia in May and would like to know how much cash you would suggest I take and in what currencies. Also can you tell the size of the group and if anyone is flying from Glasgow. Thanks

Dear Viv,

I can say that that there are currently 21 people booked onto the Vietnam tour in May. Since we don't arrange the regional connections I couldn't tell you whether anyone is flying down from Glasgow though.

As for money it is very difficult to say since everyone's spending habits and requirements are different. I would, however, say that both countries do have ATMs that can be accessed with non-local cards, so that is perhaps the most practical method since you can gauge how much you may need when over there. Otherwise US dollars are the most easily exchanged currency in the region, but also beware that the dong is a closed currency and cannot be exchanged outside of Vietnam (even in Cambodia), so don't exchange too much at once.

I hope you have a wonderful trip with us!

Hello.

What is the typical age range and gender balance on the Single Traveller holidays?

Dear Phil,

Whilst our holidays appeal to people of all ages, most of our customers are in their 50s and 60s, but to them age is just a number – what’s most important is sharing the experience of discovering an awe-inspiring destination. As for gender balance we do find that a majority of our customers are women, but the difference is generally relatively small.

Erik.
