Hi

Do you plan to run the NZ solo tour in 2020? I'm really interested in this, but having been to Australia on a family visit earlier this year, would prefer to do this one next year. Many thanks

Hi anyone who is going on the Solo holiday to New Zealand in October.

I went on a Riviera Solo holiday to Sicily in April, it was my first solo holiday but I have travelled with Riviera many times before, both land based and river cruises. I had a wonderful time so decided not to wait any longer to fulfil my dream of going to New Zealand. My query is a practical one, sorry. I haven't done a holiday this long before and was wondering if anyone can give me some tips about laundry, please? We seem to be staying only one night in most places, so not much time for stuff to dry.

Thank you in advance and look forward to meeting you in October.

Dear Grannyduck,

Almost all the hotels we use in New Zealand (with the exception of just one I believe) have their own self-service laundry facilities (which also have dryers). They cost about $4 for a wash and you can buy tokens and washing powder from the hotel receptions. So hopefully that puts your mind at ease and you don't need to overpack your suitcase.

I hope you have a wonderful trip in October!

Erik.
